As followers of my film work, I want to give y’all full access to the process. So here’s where we’re at.
Over the last 2-3 months, I’ve been shooting and editing update videos and pitch videos in preparation for the Indiegogo campaign.
There’s this thing called the “Pre Launch Page”. It’s a new thing from Indiegogo. The purpose is to have a web presence that’s simple and To-The-Point. So I created my pre-launch page to help generate awareness and allow us more time to find our audience before actually launching the full-on campaign.
So, today I uploaded the second version of my pre-launch video. I cut the original version shorter to make it more succinct. It’s not really a trailer, just some shots from the test scans of the film mixed with behind the scenes footage.
This brings up another point about the pre-launch page. over the next couple months, I’ll use the page to try out different pitches and (hopefully) get some feedback on what works the best. So think of this stage as a trial period before launching the real deal pitch video and related campaign.
If you have any thoughts on the prelaunch page or pitch video, please, please, please let me know. This is the time that I’ve set aside for message testing! For example, it you are bored or think any part of the video is ineffective….that’s what I need to know. I will take your advice seriously but in consideration with other opinions that I receive from the entire crowd. So, the more feedback I get, the more usefull it is. I would consider it a personal favor if you would take the time to write a couple sentences and send me your feedback!
Thanks in advance!
Blake
